Landscape Foreman
We’re looking for a Landscape Foreman to join our team.
You’d be responsible for:
1. Conducting weekly job site inspections
2. Completing job site checklist
3. Installation of required materials for landscaping/irrigation/site development
4. Scheduling delivery of materials and equipment
5. Crews production rates, quality control and safety
6. Assisting in job scheduling and coordination of subcontractors
7. Ensuring that all employees are attending the weekly tailgate meeting
8. Confirming that all employees are operating safely at all times including reviewing potential traffic hazards; performing hard hat checks and safety gear checks; underground alert reviews; other trades hazard review and performing general public safety checks
9. Maintaining a hazardous communication folder including all relevant forms for chemicals used on the job site
10. Reporting reckless or dangerous activities to job Superintendent; notify Safety Office of any accidents and submitting accident reports according to Company policy
Additionally, employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to:
1. Safeguard assets from theft and misuse
2. Ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud
3. Comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulation
4. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
5. Periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records
You might be a good fit if you have:
Minimum 3 years construction site experience
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
1. Knowledge of blueprints
2. Ability to lead others and manage crews
3. Able to be certified in first aid
4. Effective written and oral communication skills
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
7. Strong work ethic
8. Bilingual (Spanish)
9. Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
10. Work near or about natural bodies of water
11. Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
12. Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
13. Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
14. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
15. Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
16. Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
